ERP Integration Results in Substantial ROI Within 6 Months
Fewer things in business bother Doug Jacobs, President of Restylers’ Choice, more than inefficiency in operations. Over the course of 7 years he developed custom in-house solutions that support the unique workflow requirements of each line of his business. Yet he still spent his days “spinning plates” managing the remaining disconnected moving parts of his business. Restylers’ Choice had reached a plateau with its current architecture and knew that additional efficiencies could only be reached through seamlessly connecting its in-house solutions with ERP software.
aACE Business Suite offered a unique opportunity to integrate state-of-the-art ERP software with Restylers’ Choice’s in-house solutions. By teaming up with AGIS, Restylers’ Choice was able to eliminate two days worth of accounting work per month, free up 2,000 square feet of warehouse space, eliminate two conveyor belts, and reduce overall labor requirements by the equivalent of four full-time staffers, among other benefits, in just the first six months.
Automate and Streamline Operations for a Professional Services Company
When KNOCK began looking for a new business management solution in 2007 as a result of explosive growth, they almost immediately identified aACE Business Suite as the right fit. It offered the comprehensive integration necessary to streamline operations and, importantly, had attractive and simple interfaces pleasing to the creative staff who would be required to use the software in order for the implementation to be a success.
AGIS and KNOCK have worked together closely since 2007 to continuously improve and streamline KNOCK’s operations. “aACE has helped us manage our business in a number of ways,” says KNOCK’s President, Lili Hall and KNOCK’s Director of Creative Services, Erin McCloskey.
A Customized Software Solution for Wholesale Distribution
When AGIS met M & R International in April of 2010, M & R was using an off-the-shelf solution and a handful of database, Excel, and Word workarounds to manage their operations. Every transaction required
substantial work from users because of their complex conversion and compliance requirements. It was a slow and potentially error-prone process that needed to be improved.
M & R management researched a handful of software options. Until meeting AGIS, no software vendor could accommodate their unique requirements without painful workarounds. After two meetings
with AGIS, AGIS demonstrated a working proof of concept, making the choice obvious: aACE Business Suite.
One Fully Integrated System for the Entire Business
When On Hold Company called AGIS, they had built their own CRM and invoicing solution but did not have a fully integrated accounting system. There was a risk some invoices were being missed, there was no way to
prevent contact information from becoming out sync between the two systems, and accounting information such as payment status or past-due receivables was not reflected in the CRM and invoicing solution without tedious double-entry.
Since integrating aACE, On Hold Company’s “billing requests” from their homegrown CRM and invoicing solution are seamlessly transferred to aACE as invoices, contact information is easily
synced, and users have the ability to view a client’s up-to-date accounting information from within their own system.
A Stable, Proven Solution for a Fast-Paced Manufacturing Business
When Skip Gambert & Associates contacted AGIS, the were in a day-to-day battle with their existing solution. It was unstable, did not accommodate their fast-paced manufacturing operations, and yielded unreliable data. Their experience with previous systems was not much better.
Moving to aACE made a huge difference. It is stable, customized for their precise business needs, and is perfectly accurate.
Business Software for a Company Wanting to Switch from Windows to Mac
When Sinclair Worldwide called AGIS, they knew they needed a new solution. Their current solution was slow, they wanted to grow their business using Mac hardware and software, and many aspects of their operations
that could be automated required tedious data entry.
Moving to aACE was the perfect solution. It offered substantial performance improvements, leveraged cross-platform technologies, and through customization AGIS was able to automate many aspects of SWI’s operations
that were previously manual.
Increase Productivity with Business Management Software
Roger Vitko of Tunze USA was facing the same challenge many business owners face when he found AGIS: How do I manage the company, service existing clients, and fulfill new orders all in an 8 hour day? Tunze was beginning to manufacture products and found the off the shelf software solutions were inadequate for managing builds and inventory of assembly parts. The options were clear: increase productivity, add staff, or work longer days. Roger chose to increase productivity.
Tunze installed aACE 3.0 in late 2008 and upgraded to aACE 4.0 in early 2011. AGIS customized a handful of procurement processes to accommodate the unique relationship between Tunze USA and the parent company in Germany. AGIS also added UPS integration to the solution free-of-charge on his behalf, a feature we now provide to other clients with aACE. Roger estimates that running his business on aACE saves him at least 10 hours per week. In addition to that, Roger believes, “the greatest advantage has been my accountant having access from her office and being able to manage the books remotely. Between remote access and being able to import payroll from ADP, I practically have an on-staff bookkeeper for a fraction of the cost.”
iPad Catalog App Helps Business Go Green and Modernizes Sales Process
When Panties Plus, Inc. identified the need to update their sales process and move away from the 3‑ring binders they used to present their product line to clients, they knew an iPad application would be the best way to go. After working with AGIS to create their new iPad app, Panties Plus now has a sleek, professional solution utilizing scalable technology. “What’s more,” says Abe Hanan of Panties Plus, “by eliminating catalog printing, we have also reduced our waste, and that has a positive impact on our environment and our planet.”
